Mariela Borello is a Canadian, Argentinean born multidisciplinary artist living in Montréal, Québec. Material and the senses guide her research on towards installation using drawing, painting, photography, video, performance and sculpture. Informed by the experience of immigration and exile, Borello’s work is concerned with perception and with issues of identity and belonging using the body as a core of this reflection.  Borello holds an AOCAD (Associate to the Ontario College of Art and Design), a BA from Guelph University and an MFA from Concordia University.
